Honours Chemistry
This program is filled with an immense amount of hands-on lab work where students will get well-prepared for their fourth year thesis, co-op placements, research, and even master's. You will experience a wide array of chemistry courses in this program that will help make an informed decision of which chemistry field you want to go into!

CHEM 2A03: Quantitative Chemical Analysis
You will learn about the different instruments used and modern techniques to create methods for chemical analysis

CHEM 3II3: Introductory Inorganic Chemistry: Structure and Bonding
You will learn models and structures of inorganic compounds and their applications
CHEM 2LB3: Tools for Chemical Discovery I
You will commit to 8 hours a week of lab time in this course where your chemical lab techniques and report writing skills will be challenged. Expect inorganic and organic labs!

CHEM 2OD3: Synthesis and Function of Organic Molecules
You will learn about the fundamental organic reactions that take place and their reaction mechanisms. Introduction to spectroscopy.
CHEM 2OG3: Structure and Reactivity of Organic Molecules
You will learn how a chemical structure can affect the properties and chemical reaction of organic molecules.

CHEM 2P03: Physical Chemistry
You will learn important concepts in thermodynamics and kinetic applications to various systems.

CHEM 2Q03: Inquiry for Chemistry
You will learn important research skills including presentations, writing and useful tips and sources to improve your undergraduate career.
